Dashboard UI Design
My design work for aifora is under NDA. I still want to show my skills in the area of dashboard building for desktop, so I did this case-study!

Goal: Create a dashboard for social media analytics for a busy social media manager who needs all the important information at one glance.
My goal was to design a minimalist, modern and sleek looking dashboard where all the most important KPIs are easily accessible. After researching the most important KPIs for social media, I created a design system to put together a cohesive looking dashboard.
My main focus was to have the KPIs stand out so they could easily be perceived and save the social media manager time and effort.

As I have the design skills but not the social media knowledge, I asked chatgpt for the most important KPIs that a social media manager would have to look up. I then designed it in an appealing manner.
This is the design system I created, containing my logo, the fonts I chose, the iconography and the spacing.

I chose the font family Jost because it's minimalist and modern looking, which is what my overall goal for the dashboard is. The icons I picked are a bit more of a contrast: They are still delicate in their line width but they are a bit more playful looking to spice things up.
For the colors, I picked dark blue for the side navigation and the top navigation as blue in the color psychology stands for trust. I chose grey as the background so I could visually group the two parts of the dashboard more easily. I kept the website analytics graph simple and classy but I had some fun with the social media graphs in that I took the respective brand colors of each platform and used them as the graph colors. Social Media Managers are used to these colors, so they can easily connect the colors of the graph to the individual platforms, which enables me to have many different line graphs in one chart without them being confusing.
